Every year Chelsea celebrates the cream of the crop, showcasing the show-stoppers, the high performers and the latest breeding breakthroughs to crown a Plant of the Year. In 2022 Marshalls Garden are proud to be entering five nominees for this prestigious competition, including a homegrown revelation that is sure to be taking centre stage in gardens up and down the country over the coming months. Broccoli ‘Purplelicious’ is a uniquely coloured and delicious vegetable, and the only variety to retain its colour when cooked. Also included in our nominees are ornamental revelations such as the colour-changing Echinacea ‘Evolution Colourific’, butterfly-loving Buddleja ‘Candy Little Ruby’, Petunia ‘Fun House Potpourri’ and Armeria ‘Dreameria Dreamland’.
