Horseradish Plants

The Horseradish plant is one of those rare vegetables that you can put in the ground and leave to grow by itself, for that alone Horseradish is a much underrated vegetable.

Once lifted Horseradish roots can be stored for up to 3 months in a cool dry place. Use it to make a simple sauce for roast beef or grate it in with mashed potatoes to give an additional kick to your meals.
