Primrose (Primula) & Polyanthus Plants

Primrose (Primula) and Polyanthus plants can be relied upon to give colour for months on end. These are spring flowering bedding plants that are planted in autumn (so they are often referred to as Autumn bedding plants) and some of the earliest can be in flower for Christmas.

Primroses and Polyanthus are hardy plants that shrug off winter cold, and they’ll just keep on flowering. In a range of colours from traditional creamy-yellow to bright blues and magentas they’ll brighten up beds, borders and containers for months.

Leave them in the ground once they've finished flowering, they'll sit quietly throughout the summer and flower every spring.
