Grow apple Red Falstaff on your plot for years of crisp apples. This is the descendant of Golden Delicious and James Grieve so possesses the best qualities of both parents for crispness and sun-ripe flavour.
Because Red Falstaff is frost resistant and self fertile, this proves to be one of the heaviest yielding varieties apple that there is. Red Falstaff Produces profuse amounts of blossom and is an excellent pollinator for other varieties.
Pick in the second week in October for apples with a wonderful mellow flavour. As Red Falstaff stores effectively you can depend on a winter-long supply of this great-tasting fruit.
