Sweet and succulent cabbage perfect for juicing and stir fries. A sweet-collard cabbage with broad leaves containing very little fibre and a thick stem which produces a lot of juice, so perfect for juicing.
This nutritious loose-leaved cabbage can be picked as required and shredded and lightly boiled or stir-fried along with its delicate flower heads.
Sowing indoors: In March-April sow thinly 1cm (1/2in) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre- watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.
In April-September, plant out into the required harvest position 60cm (24in) apart with 60cm (24in) between each row when plants have three to four true leaves.
