Description

  • Suitable for sunny windowsills
  • Easy to care for
  • Cope well with drought

The cactus is a plant that’s never gone out of fashion. It’s easy to care for, copes well with heat and drought and looks great too. These three ball cactus Parodia magnifica arrive with matt grey cylinder pots and can be displayed together or separately.

Cacti are spiky beauties that originate from deserts. They love heat, don’t need a lot of water, and may even flower every now and again.

Keep them in a bright spot, such as a south-facing window, and treat them with a trip outdoors over the summer months as they love fresh air. Cacti cope with temperatures as low as 4C (40F).

Give little or no water between mid October and late March and gradually increase the amount of moisture they get from April at times when the compost feels dry. Never allow the compost to be too wet.

Feed during their growing season (April to September) using specialist cacti or liquid houseplant fertilisers.
