Good for oxygenating shady ponds
Commonly called Hornwort this is a dense, mat forming plant with insignificant flowers. It is a good plant for oxygenating shady ponds because it tolerates a shady site. The plants float on the surface but they root into the mud at the base of the pond.
Submerged Oxygenating Plants help keep water in ponds aerated and pond life healthy. These plants float on top of the water.
