Give children the ideal gift for sowing seeds indoors, on the windowsill or in the greenhouse. This propagator kit and seeds gives them access to the world of sowing and gardening in a lively and fun way.

Simply fill the seed tray with the 2ltr bag of multi-purpose compost included and scatter the seeds of your lettuce or cress on the surface. Cover with a very thin layer of compost on the surface. For your nasturtiums just press the seeds into the soil to the depth of a fingernail.

Useful tip:

You can re-use the propagator kit again and again. We suggest that you rinse out the seed tray between sowings to keep the equipment clean and hygienic which keeps soil diseases at bay.

Your kit includes:

Propagation Kit – seed tray, lid with open/close vent (close until germination, open when seedlings)

2ltr bag of multi-purpose compost

One seed packet each of;

Cress – fast germinating, children get to enjoy seeing these seeds germinate and grow after only a few days. Fun to harvest and put in sandwiches for pack lunches.

Lettuce Cut & Come Again – quick to grow, children need to cut the leaves at the base and the plant regrows and regenerates giving children an appreciation that some crops keep giving.

Nasturtium Jeepers Creepers – large round seeds easy to press into the compost and cover. Transfer seedlings into containers when the seedlings have three or four leaves.
