If planted outdoors in the ground after Christmas, your tree can grow to its full-size potential (up to 15-20 m/50-65ft. To ensure your tree is at its happiest, keep it outdoors until you’re ready to bring it into your home. Your tree is easy to care for – water with about half a litre of water every 3-4 days (or when the soil on the top starts to feel dry to the touch). Your tree likes to stay cool, so keep it away from any direct heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces.

If you choose to keep your tree outside it can create a wonderful garden feature, not just at Christmas but the whole year through! Place by your front door or in the garden to make a stunning festive welcome for guests visiting your home; the tree will be happy well into January without potting on.
