This variety is great for outdoor growing and is considered to be a fantastic lunchbox cucumber.  Perfect for open allotments the variety can be grown on the ground or for better space-saving grow up a trellis against your garden fence.

Firm, dark green, crisp refreshing spineless fruits are perfect sized for lunchboxes and pickling! All-female variety setting up to 2 fruits per node even in hot growing conditions. High in vitamin C, K, and rich in potassium. Crops for 45-60 days.

How to Guide

Sow indoors

March-May: Sow 2cm (1in) deep individually in modules or 8cm (3in) pots of firm pre-watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. Place in warmth 20-25°C (70-75°F). As seedlings develop grow on under cool, light conditions but not in bright sunlight 15°C (60°F).


Plant out

June. Outdoors in a sunny location. Protect from frost.



Pick fruit regularly. Keep well watered and feed regularly with a liquid fertiliser.
