Flowering in April and May Cytisus Apricot Gem partners well with crown imperial fritillaries in yellow and orange. Both Cytisus and crown imperials appreciate free draining and lighter soil with full exposure to sun. Tulips dotted about nearby also adds to your overall flower display.
If growing in containers go for an ericaceous compost which the roots of Cytisus Apricot Gem will happily settle in. If planting in an existing bed be sure to add grit to open up the soil if it is heavy and clay-like in structure. Choose a sunny site for the best flower displays.
