Long-stemmed and perfect.
The slightly ruffled clear lavender flowers are large but they also have the strong fragrance more reminiscent of the old-fashioned highly scented types.
It is very free flowering and is one of the best Spencers of any colour.

How to Guide
Sow 5 seeds in a 12cm/5in pot of moist seed compost. Lightly cover with compost.
Water well after sowing but not again until seedlings emerge. Germinate at 10-15C / 50-60F
Sow 2cm / 1in deep and 10cm / 4 in apart. Water daily until seedlings emerge.

Potting on/Thining Out
Grow on indoor raised seedlings in unheated conditions, ideally in a cold frame.
Hardening Off/Planting Out
From March, spacing 20cm / 8in apart. Support with canes or netting.
