Description

  • Glossy variegated heart-shaped leaves
  • Train over supports or allow to trail

  • Includes 30ml droplet feeder

Fabulous green and gold heart-shaped leaves make devil’s ivy hard to resist.

This generous plant looks good trailing from a hanging basket or cascading over the edge of a shelf, or it can be trained up a pole.

Its beautiful fleshy leaves are great for bringing a tropical feel to a room and research points to an ability to improve air quality too. This plant holds a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.

Keep devil’s ivy in a well-lit room that doesn’t get direct sunlight. Be aware that the leaf variegation can fade in a poor light. Ensure the temperature does not fall below 10C and avoid draughts.

Water regularly from spring to autumn, allowing the compost to dry out slightly afterwards. Scindapsus need very little water over winter. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and mist regularly to recreate the humid conditions this plant is used to in the wild. Repot Scindapsus in spring if it grows too big.

Yellowing and falling leaves in winter can be caused by overwatering, while brown leaf tips can be caused by the air being too dry. Curled leaves can be caused by cold air.

This plant is harmful if eaten and its sap can irritate the skin or eyes and should be kept away from pets.

You will also receive an easy to use 30ml houseplant droplet feeder specially formulated to keep them happy and healthy looking for much longer. Simply snap off the tip and stick it into your plant pot to feed your plant for up to one month.
