- Eight weeks sow to harvest
- Stringless beans for a perfect texture
- Easy-pick pods
Satelit is a great tasting stringless white-seeded bean variety which produces nice straight, generous-sized beans approximately 6in (15cm) long. Satelit is a very early variety which you can start as early as April to sow indoors and be harvesting in June.
This exclusive variety crops right to the frosts with no loss of flavour. Pods are held up and away from the leaves for easy-picking. Enjoy the summer season, outdoors harvesting these lovely beans.
Disease resistant to common mosaic virus and anthracnose disease- all you need to know is that you’re safe in the knowledge that this variety will provide you lots of healthy, disease-free beans.
We recommend you sow 3 seeds in a small pot in late spring. Simply fill a pot with compost specially formulated for young plants, to the top and make a deep depression in the centre of the pot with your finger. Pop the large seeds in the dent and cover. Water the surface of the pot. Once the seeds germinate keep watering daily.
Plant all three plants together when transplanting outside. This dwarf variety grows to around 45cm (18in) tall. Don't be too eager to plant outdoors until risk of frost or cold winds have passed, usually towards the end of May.
