Echinacea 'White Meditation' looks sensational planted in drifts through a border, with eye-catching flowers with white petals surrounding distinctive golden-brown cones. It’s superb with ornamental grasses in prairie planting schemes and ideal for wildlife friendly gardens, with the flowers attracting butterflies and the seedheads providing food for birds.

Echinaceas like a well-drained soil in full sun. They don’t tolerate drought, so mulch well in spring or autumn to help the soil retain moisture in hot summers. Cut back the flowerstems in autumn, or leave them to stand to provide food and shelter for garden wildlife over winter.
