Erysimum ‘Spring Breeze Sunset’ produces stunning clusters of scented flowers in glowing sunset colours of yellow and orange tinged with lilac. The flowers appear from early spring through to summer, set off by grey green evergreen leaves. This easy to grow perennial wallflower looks sensational planted together with tulips for spring colour, and is very popular with pollinators.

Unlike traditional biennial wallflowers, Erysimum ‘Spring Breeze Sunset’ will flower for several years, thriving in any well drained soil in a sunny spot.

Place the pot in a sheltered spot outdoors and water regularly to keep the soil moist.

Planting tips and hints:

Planting in the ground:

Plant in moist but well drained soil in full sun. Using a trowel, dig a hole the same size as the pot your plant comes in and place the plant in the hole with the top of its compost level with the surface of the soil. Water well.

Aftercare:

Deadhead regularly to prolong the flowering period

Planting in containers:

Plant in containers filled with a good multipurpose compost. Space the plants about 15cm (6in) apart. Place the container in a sunny spot and water during dry periods.
