Description

A dessert type gooseberry, Captivator produces you punnets of fruit each year of red, spherical fruits, flavoursome enough to eat straight from the bush. Grow in a container or in the ground to suit your garden or allotment.

Available in 1.5 litre pots, your plants are young and vigorous and with a good root network, naturally ready to produce lots of fruiting stems once you plant them up between September and March.

On arrival your plant may have some fruit but it will fruit in earnest in the first summer after it has seen through a winter after planting.

Cut back fruited stems to the ground in the second autumn and tie in the new leafy stems to supports- these will produce the delicious gooseberries for you to enjoy the following year.
