Enjoy the support of this natural jute netting easy to place over a wig-wam structure for growing plants like runner beans or sweet peas. The netting rots down fully so you can place the whole lot of netting and stems in the compost bin at season end.

Pack Contents: 1x Large Net

Size: H:2m x L:5m

  • Ideal for climbing beans and sweet peas
  • 100% bio-degradable
  • No untangling necessary

The perfect solution for a busy home-grower at the end of the growing season. Once your climbing plants have finished fruiting and you’ve got the harvests you need, simply throw the netting and plants on the compost heap; the jute is 100% bio-degradable so will rot down and provide good structure to the contents of your compost bin.

As a 2m x 5m (6 ½ ft x 16 ½ ft) grid this netting will cover a long wig-wam structure. We recommend you fit the netting over your structure prior to planting and then plant your beans at 15cm (6in) intervals.

Already woven together your netting simply needs to be shifted into the right space. In natural brown the netting blends into the garden setting perfectly over the growing season and completes the vertical-gardening part of your plot or garden perfectly.

Useful tip

Use the netting for ornamentals as well as edibles. Sweet peas, annual morning glories and golden hop are all great examples of garden ornamentals that will enjoy the support of this natural netting.

For golden hop cut the green stems to the ground only and remove the netting and stems. The roots underground will overwinter and produce another display next season. Just put up fresh netting in the spring.
