These large, pale yellow perennial Shasta daisies look great as they open and close in the sun. As the season continues the yellow petals turn white gradually. Place Banana Cream in wallside borders with other cottage favourites like lavender, sedums and even ornamental grasses.
Buds open out through the summer into beautiful discs of pale-lemon petals surrounding an inner dark yellow centre. As the summer goes on the petals change colour. Perfect placed in pots we recommend you surround Banana Cream with equally pollinator-friendly plants like trailing lobelias.
Cut some of the stems so that you have cut flowers which you can sell on your allotment. Place Banana Cream in your garden in beds, pots or wallside borders. Alternatively grow in a row on your allotment for a bit of welcome colour and to bring in the pollinating insects.
