Lupin ‘Lupini Mix’ is a colourful mix of dwarf lupins producing short flower spires packed with bright bicolour blooms in summer. These compact plants are perfect for small gardens or the front of a border.

Sow indoors

February-June, September-October: Soak seeds in water overnight before sowing. Sow on the surface of trays filled with moist seed compost and cover with a sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18-20C (64-68F) until after germination (18-21 days). When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions

Plant out

May: Once frosts are past, harden off and plant out into the permanent position 30cm (12in) apart.
