Plant this wild species of daffodil in your garden in groups to make an impact in spring. The two-tone petals and trumpets look really effective in drifts when the flowers come up in spring.
Plant bulbs in autumn under trees or shrubs even in shady positions of the garden. Even if you just have a small yard or balcony plant bulbs of this wild species in containers; they’ll put on a beautiful show.
After flowering allow the slim yet long green leaves to wither before removing, which feeds the bulbs next year.
How you receive your bulbs
You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.
Can’t plant straight away?
Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
