Nemesia 'Sundrops Mix' is a fabulous mix producing compact plants smothered in vibrantly coloured, fragrant flowers, perfect for pots on a sunny patio. Blooming all summer and into early autumn, these reliable plants provide superb long-lasting colour.
Sow indoors
January-May: Level fill a module tray with seed compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually over the surface, lightly covering with a little more compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 15-18°C (60-65°F) or cover tray with cling film and leave in a warm room. When shoots appear, remove cling film or ventilate propagator. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 10°C (50°F).
Plant out
May: Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out 20cm (8in) apart when risk of frost has passed. Water well until established. Plant in groups of threes and fives.
Tips
Plant near doorways where their scent can be fully appreciated.
