Growing Calendar
How to Guide
Sow outdoors
March-August: Sow thinly 1⁄2in (1cm) deep in rows 16in (40cm) apart. Keep soil moist as dry conditions can impair germination. Thin to 10in (25cm) apart or 1in (2.5cm) for baby leaf.
Tips
Use thinnings in baby leaf salads. Mature leaves can be steamed or used in stir-fries. Keep well watered in periods of dry weather. Pak Choi is fast growing and highly nutritious.
