How to Guide

Sow indoors

February - April: Sow individually 1⁄4in (1⁄2cm) deep in clean module trays of firm pre-watered compost. Cover with a fine layer of vermiculite. Place in constant warmth 65 ̊F (18 ̊C) and keep soil moist at all times. Slowly reducing the heat to 57 ̊F (14 ̊C) and increasing ventilation after germination to keep plants from getting leggy.  Prick out when large enough to handle individually into 3 1⁄2in (9cm) of good quality compost.

Plant Out

Plant out into individual pots or growing bags at a minimum of 60°F (15°C ).

Tip

Water regularly and feed weekly with a liquid fertiliser once fruits start to swell.
