Description

Buy 15 tubers of potato Gemson, that’s 5 tubers to fill every Gro-Sack (10905882) so you get dozens of tasty potatoes perfect for roasting from planting in a well-sized sack that you can put on a balcony or in the garden.

Whether you choose to grow this autumn-cropping potato variety in open soil on the allotment or in a purpose-made Gro-Sack, you’ll be rewarded with a great crop of potatoes from September that are perfect served cold or hot as beautiful roasties.

Cover potato plants with horticultural fleece when chilly nights are on the cards. If you are growing them in a Gro-Sack consider bringing them indoors on cold nights if they are not too heavy and returning them outdoors by day.

As the stems of your potato plants increase in size earth up soil around the base of your potato plants periodically. This stops the edible tubers from greening-up and becoming poisonous.
