‘Wilja’ is a second early, breed in the 1970s. The over all appearance from these high yielders make them good choice for the grower. In the kitchen they are best cooked by boiling because they keep their form well when cooked. Their flesh is white and the texture is floury which also makes them a good choice for mashing. A great second early that doesn't suffer from many drawbacks.
