Sow Outdoors

How to Guide

Sow outdoors

March-September: Sow thinly, 1⁄2in (1cm) deep in rows 6in (15cm) apart, direct in harvest position. Keep soil moist at all times until seedlings are established as dry conditions impair germination.  Thin to 5cm (2in) apart.

Sow little and often for continuous supply. Water plants generously in dry weather to prevent roots becoming woody and peppery. Pick roots whilst small and young.
