Description

This exciting variety of raspberry 'Glen Carron' produces delicious high quality and large fruits over a long four week cropping period.
Berries produced are consistently large, they are bright red and have a high glossy texture. They are deliciously sweet with very low levels of acidity.
The fruit produced can be stored for a long time when compared to other varieties of fresh raspberry.
The plant grows vigorously and produces strong canes that hold no sharp spines allowing you to pick the delightful fruits care-free.
Floricane (summer-fruiting) varieties fruit on canes produced in the previous year. After fruiting, cut out the old, fruited wood in autumn/winter and tie in the new growths to the support.
Cut down all bare root planted raspberries to 2cm (1in) above ground level when planting. This will encourage multiple canes to grow from the ground.
