- Lots of beans whatever the weather
- Stringless, smooth beans better in the kitchen
- Expert runner bean and French bean cross
Stardust produces masses of self-fertile white flowers on vigorous plants. They set well no matter what the weather to give you deliciously tender, stringless beans that are full of flavour.
This unique variety is the result of an expert cross between a French bean and a runner giving plants a self-pollinating habit meaning they don't rely completely on bees, so you get a consistently reliable crop come rain or shine.
Great for newcomers to home-growing, as well as experts the seeds of this variety are large so make for easy-sowing so you're not dealing with small, fiddly seeds.
Grow in pots on balconies or on patios if space is a premium and enjoy star-white flowers turning into a wealth of healthy tasty pods.
In every packet you receive around 45 seeds, enough to complete a couple of rows in a typical allotment setting. If you are growing in a garden, we recommend you plant by a wall fitted with trellis or grow up bamboo wigwams.
