Sarcococca hookeriana 'Winter Gem' is a full hardy shrub that displays rich, glossy green foliage, larger than average, that will remain all the year-round. In winter, extremely fragrant white flowers appear, producing a sweet-smelling perfume, followed by glossy, red berries that ripen to black. 'Winter Gem' is tolerant to most conditions, and will only need a light trim or pruning after flowering.

Can be planted in a rich, fertile and well-drained soil. Position in partial shade.

Supplied in a 9cm pot. Height and spread up to 1m.
