Planting tips and hints:

Planting in the ground: Best planted in autumn or spring while the ground is more moist. Dig a hole the same size as the pot your sedum comes in and place the sedum in the hole with the top of its compost level with the surface of the soil. Allow 0.5 metres between this plant and others as it will cover more ground as it grows. Water well.

Aftercare: Cut back spent stems after flowering to promote a good shape or leave flower heads in place for winter interest. Consider cutting back every third stem in late May to prevent the possibility of flopping, especially in fertile soils. Split plants every three or four years in spring so that they remain vigorous.
