‘Lady Balfour’ is a second early potato with an excellent resistance to the major diseases that blight potato crops including blight and scab, and eelworm. The pink-blushed tubers, which are high in antioxidants which boost the immune system, are pleasing to the eye and have a tasty, creamy flesh which are ideal for boiling or roasting. This variety produces big harvests even in soils with low fertility, which is great news if your vegetable patch is plagued with stones and debris.
