Description
- Easier to grow than traditional spinach
- Large, fleshy leaves
- Good resistance to bolting in its first season
- Sow in spring and autumn for a long harvest season
Perpetual spinach (actually a type of chard) is an excellent alternative to traditional spinach, with larger, fleshier leaves. It almost never bolts (runs to seed) in its first year, making it much easier to grow than normal spinach, especially in dry soils. Steam it, stir fry it or add the young leaves to salads.
Supplied on 6m of tape with perfectly spaced seeds, making it quick and easy to sow. Autumn sowings can be harvested through winter and into spring.
