Grow strawberry Cambridge Favourite as part of your kitchen garden this summer and enjoy a popular variety full of flavour and succulence.

This variety came about just before the outbreak of World War II and has stood the tests of time since. They probably featured in the Dig for Victory campaign and so feature in an important part of British culture and heritage.

Decades on you can still enjoy the benefits of Cambridge Favourite - a strawberry ready in June and July just in time for the Wimbledon season.

We recommend you grow your plants in baskets or containers in soil that warms up quickly to stimulate the roots and encourage the plants to produce lots of flowering stems.
