Description
Ready in time for the summer
- Flowers to fruit in little time
- Often produces a second crop in the same year
- Premium grade bare root runner
Enjoy ripe strawberries as early as May with this early-cropping variety has quickly become a popular variety in the Marshalls Garden collection. High-yielding with rich-red, glossy, perfectly-shaped berries, it has truly excellent eating qualities.
Flowers are held well above the foliage, aiding pollination and keeping fruit clean and easy to pick and frequently produces a second crop later in the season.
Strawberry Vibrant is protected by Plant Variety Rights and cannot be propagated even for own use and resold without licence.
We recommend you grow Vibrant plants in raised beds, containers or grow bags so the soil warms up quickly. This catalyses roots into growth which in turn produces more flowering stems.
How you will receive your plants:
Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, you will receive your plant in a 9cm pot, ready to plant out.
Can’t plant straight away?
Place in a sheltered spot and water regularly to keep the compost moist
Planting tips and hints:
Planting in containers: Plant in containers filled with multi-purpose compost, with the crown (where the leaves start to appear) at soil level. Water after planting
Planting in the ground: Plant in full sun in soil that has been enriched with well-rotted farmyard manure or garden compost. Ensure that the crown of the plant (where the leaves start to appear) is at soil level. Water after planting.
