Keep soil moist while plants are developing.
Tip- swedes do well in soil that has not been recently manured.
Harvest: September- February. Swedes are extra hardy and will withstand winter frosts which means you can lift individual swedes as and when you require. If you want to harvest in one go to relieve space, store swedes in dry sand or peat.
