Lilac is a great value shrub, with its clusters of fragrant flowers and pretty heart-shaped leaves. The white-edged purple blooms of ‘Sensation’ are a lovely addition to the garden. This hardy deciduous shrub grows to around four metres (13ft) in height and spread and looks great in sunny or partially shady shrub or mixed borders with neutral or alkaline soils. This lilac holds the Award for Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.

How you will receive your plants:

Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, this will be supplied in a 9cm pot (measured by the diameter of the pot). With a well strong root system in place, you can plant out in the garden straight away and leave them to establish, or you can grow them in larger pots as they are still young, before planting out to create a stunning garden display.

Can’t plant straight away?

If you aren't able to plant out straight away, then ensure they stay moist. You can place pots on a saucer or tray of shallow water so they are able to stay hydrated. Aim to have them planted within 3 days.
