Description
Add Single-late tulip type Barcelona to your planting scheme for punchy pink highlights around your garden. So good to grow, this pink tulip is recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society.
Add to the centre or back of flower beds where it enhances your spring displays, planted with dark tulips like tulip Ronaldo.
Grow Barcelona in pots when you have a city or courtyard-style garden. Its colour and shape lends itself well to contemporary designs.
Plant 12 bulbs in a 30cm (12in) diameter container or evenly in a square foot (30cm²) area of soil.
How you receive your bulbs
You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.
Can’t plant straight away?
Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
