Fantastic sweet pea to remind you of tropical summer fruit. Grow Watermelon in a sunny spot and enjoy the vibrant colours through early summer.

Grow as a wall of beautiful flowers in your garden on a sunny wall on your patio or up a wigwam of bamboos in a flower bed or even allotment. Flowers attract pollinating insects too, pollinating a range of other flowers including tomatoes and strawberries, peas and beans turning the flowers to delicious fruit and productive vegetables.

Introduced by Renees Garden in 2005.

How your seeds arrive to you

Your flower seeds arrive to you in a well-sealed seed packet – with lots of information including sowing instructions and helpful tips. Check the sell-by-date and check all instructions on the seed packet are clear and legible. When it comes to sowing check the number of seeds, where plausible, within the pack.

Aftercare

As a rule of thumb it's time to move your seedlings on into their final position when your seedlings have developed around four leaves. At this stage they are ready to put on lovely flowering stems given the increased nutrients in the soil.
