- Instant impact
- Rare blue-white flowers
- Fully hardy
- Comes back year after year
Attractive and rare blue-white hardy fuchsia variety which returns year after year. The flowering shrub Fuchsia Delta’s Sara offers summer colour to your outdoor space in the latter part of summer when bees and pollinator activity is high.
These flowers are perfect for pollinating insects with long tongues like hummingbird hawk-moths. These pollinators are likely to stick around, pollinating the flowers of nearby crops like aubergines and tomatoes.
Consider position your plant to the back of the flowerbed and watch the flowers develop from pendant buds through the summer months. Complementing nearby perennials and bedding in later summer you can produce attractive and scented displays easily.
As an established pot plant we suggest that you plant up in soil high in nutrients like John Innes No. 2 and water frequently though the summer season. Fuchsia Delta’s Sara will enjoy a liquid feed high in potash and reward you with flowers further into the summer and autumn. Cut back stems in early spring to around 10-20cm (4-8in) from the ground and flowers will start to form by June.
