Pepper Seeds

Peppers are best grown in a greenhouse, grow house or polytunnel as they like warmth. Sow from mid-February in small pots of seed cutting compost with a topping of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or pop a plastic bag over the top to keep the moisture in. As soon as the seedlings appear remove and start to water regularly. They will be ready for transplanting once they have two 'true leaves' and can be placed into their final position late April to mid-May. Protect from frost and feed with a high potassium fertiliser weekly once flowering.
