Osteospermums offer the gardener something really special; the plants are guaranteed to liven up summer beds, borders and containers. From simple daisy flowers in bright or pastel colours to truly spectacular blooms with quilled or spoon-shaped petals or a central ruff of petals that would put the showiest of zinnias to shame!
Osteospermumms are half hardy perennials so grown in a warm, sheltered position they can keep going for several seasons. Plant into containers and give them a warm place to over winter if you live in a cold part of the country.
All osteospermums like a sunny position and plants do best in moist but well- drained soil.
