This premium quality, hand-selected potted Norway Spruce (Picea abies) tree will be the centrepiece of your home this Christmas. The Norway Spruce is the traditional tree of Christmas, and its stiff, needle-like leaves will fill your home with their distinctive pine fragrance – the essence of the festive season!
Decorate your tree to your own unique taste with fairy lights, tinsel and baubles, or display it as is, filled with charm and character; this tree is sure to bring the feeling of Christmas to your home.
To ensure your tree stays looking good for Christmas, keep it outdoors until you’re ready to bring it into your home. Your tree is easy to care for – water with about half a litre of water every 3-4 days (or when the soil on the top starts to feel dry to the touch). Keep it away from any direct heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces.
Potted trees have been grown outdoors before being dug up with their rootballs intact and potted on into pots for Christmas, so they can be planted out after the festive season is over.
If planted outdoors in the ground after Christmas, your tree can grow up to 40m/130ft when mature. If you’d prefer to keep your tree to a more manageable size, you can leave it in the supplied pot and place into a decorative container where it will grow to the constraints of the pot size.
