For the healthiest cactis fill up pots with this special mix with Seramis, a water-retaining additive that means constant watering is not an necessity. Occasional misting with wateris more appropriate.

Your Cacti and Succulent Potting Mix has added grit and sand for optimum drainage, ideal for succulent plants and a range of different cacti. Available in 4 litres you have enough mix to cater for more than 10 little pots or two or three dry-garden displays of shallow 20-30cm (8-12in) troughs and pans.

Useful Tip:

Wear gloves when repotting all cacti. Even cacti that look smooth can be deceptively prickly with tiny hook-shaped spines. Try to avoid rubbing off the natural and protective white bloom that is present on some cacti variety by handling with care.
