Description

  • Deep orange flowerheads that fade to yellow
  • Tall, upright stems
  • Popular with pollinators
  • Beautiful summer colour

Achillea 'Sassy Summer Sunset' is taller than many other Achillea varieties, with sturdy stems bearing deep orange flowerheads that fade to yellow, spreading a warm sunset glow over the garden in summer. An ideal choice for wildlife-friendly gardens, as the flowers are very popular with bees and other pollinators.

Best in relatively infertile, well drained soil in full sun. If the soil is too rich, plants have a tendency to flop. Deadhead after flowering, or leave the dried flowerheads on the plants to provide winter interest. Cut back flowerstems to ground level in late winter.
