Get slender sweet flag Ogon (Acorus gramineus Ogon), a moisture-loving or pond plant with rare, stripy, semi-evergreen leaves. These sword-like leaves have glossy leaves that gleam when the sun shines on them.

Add your potted plant to your pond or plant in moist soil at the pondside. You can even plant slender sweet flag Ogon in the centre of pots surrounded by contrasting colourful bedding flowers. The sword-like foliage is dramatic and striking and makes real impact in your garden.

This variety is low maintenance; just make sure that the surrounding soil is moist. We recommend that you plant in aquatic soil if repotting your plant to plunge into your pond or plant in a rich compost that is always moist, if growing this plant in pots.
