Fresh broad beans are one of the delights of the garden and now you can enjoy them earlier with Broad bean ‘Luz de Otono’. This variety has strong resistance to cold and can be planted in October and overwintered, ready for an early Spring crop. Produces long pods packed with flavourful beans. A strong, vigorous variety. Will need protection in the harshest of winters, or long periods of very low temperatures.

Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, you will receive your super plugs in plug trays in a box. These are designed to keep your plants secure and to prevent damage in transit.

Can’t plant straight away?

If you aren't able to plant your plugs out straight away then ensure they stay moist. You can place your plugs on a saucer or tray of shallow water so they are able to stay hydrated. Aim to have your plugs planted within 3 days.
