This stripy yellow courgette variety can produce fruiting courgette even without the aid of pollinating insects, so you will get huge yields whatever the weather and insect numbers that year. Bumper crops of golden yellow fruits with white stripes and bred in the UK for British weather. Perfect!
You’ll get bumper harvests of dependable Courgette Goldmine whether it’s a good summer or a bad one. Great news when you are at the mercy of the variable British weather. An F1 generation hybrid, your courgette plants are naturally vigorous giving you generous harvests all summer long.
Receiving 10 seeds in every packet means you have a potential for lots of courgettes, saving you money on buying them from the supermarket. We recommend you sow the large courgette seeds outdoors in rich soil. Courgette plants can spread and like lots of room to grow. Space seeds 3ft (90cm) apart in a row or sow one seed per trough or container that is at least 1 ½ ft (45cm) in diameter.
Keep well-watered as soon as the seeds germinate and you’ll be picking pretty courgettes every other day through the summer. These courgettes are full of flavour and delicious fried with butter and oil.
Please note - These seeds should ideally be sown this season. All our packets have ‘Sow by Date’ guidance on them, this is the date the seeds should be sown in order to achieve the highest rate of germination. You will still see the same high-quality plants if sowing in seasons after the ‘Sow by Date’ but may see a reduction in germination rate
