Salvia Marvel Blue gives big impact in the summer garden whether you position your plants in pots, towards the front of flower beds or even in allotments. Growing to a tidy 30cm (12in) in height flower stems look great with white-flowered and blue-flowered bedding like lobelia.
Not only do your plants give you beautiful flowers they give you scented leaves, great for fragrant and visual impact. Tactile and well-scented pick a leaf or two and take in the captivating clean scent of the leaves.
If growing in containers consider planting one salvia plant in the centre and surround with indigo-flowered bedding like lobelias to harmonise with Marvel Blue.
Get some sharp secateurs and cut some of the flowers for vases or bouquets bringing a bit of colour to the home.
