Take advantage of this useful seed tray set, perfect for home growers and garden enthusiasts.

Making ideal water trays for seed sowing and tending cuttings we recommend that you fill your tray with a layer of gravel and place smaller seed trays and pots on top with drainage holes. This is the best way to water these young plants.

Seeds and cuttings are best watered from below rather than above with a watering can. This is because you can displace the seeds on the surface by watering above as well as create too much humidity at the stems, which can cause damping off disease.

These stackable seed and gravel trays take little space at your potting station or propagation area on account of their stackable nature. Use them over and over again saving on resources, helping to save the planet and keeping costs down too.

Useful Tip:

These trays accommodate mini cactus and alpine displays perfectly; simply plant these dry-loving favourites in soil and a layer of gravel placed in your tray and mist the plants periodically. This prevents you from having to water with a watering can which can saturate the soil.

Please note: These trays do not come with pre-cut holes, but they do include markers for you to create drainage holes if desired.
